The winds that most time of the year regularly blow during the morning and afternoon are ideal for sailing.

It is possible to contact the various local sailing schools, to ask for complete sailing courses or single test days.

Less sporty people, who see the sailboat as the ideal place for sun tanning, can opt for a trip on the lake with expert skippers.

The area is also very famous for kite surfing, the new acrobatic sport in which riders, with the help of a kite, make amazing jumps and flips.

Even if a scuba diving session in Lake Garda is very different from a deep-sea diving experience, this could be anyway a pleasant activity, as here you can find the clearest water of all European lakes.

 

 

Monte Baldo is the favorite destination of many paragliding lovers, for both dynamic and thermal flights. With the cable car, in a few minutes you can reach the amazing take-off point, 1760 meters above sea level, while for landing there is a suitable area just near the lake. The lake underneath makes it possible for flyers to perform acrobatic competitions with special maneuvers and tests.

On site you will find experienced pilots who will enable untrained people to live the emotion of a tandem free flight, meanwhile enjoying the amazing view underneath.

Mountain bike lovers can choose to stay in the bike lane along the lakeshores, or ride on special tracks, with different levels of difficulty.

The bravest bikers can also reach Monte Baldo top with the cable car and ride back down, along  steep and challenging paths or on easier roads and visiting little mountain towns and villages along the way.

On the near Trentino Mountains the descents of Tremolo, Mount Altissimo and Cima Pernici are also very famous among bike lovers.

For this sport, you need only a pair of training shoes and a comfy clothing.

This sport is really for all, regardless of age and physical condition; it is cheap and can be done everywhere, alone or with other people.

If done in the correct way, it can bring important benefits:

For trekking enthusiasts, Malcesine and Monte Baldo, offer a wide range of paths for simple walks and amazing excursions, with different levels of difficulty.

From Malcesine you can reach fantastic panoramic points or follow different paths that lead to interesting places such as S. Michele, S. Maggiore, Eremo S. Benigno and Carro or, for trained walkers, directly to Monte Baldo.

Otherwise, you can comfortably reach the height of 1760 metres with the cable car and walk around the grazing lands of mountain diaries, reach mountain chalets or simply gaze at local plants and flowers.

Monte Baldo, which is considered the botanical garden of Europe, thanks to its isolated position offers, in bright sunny days, 360 ° breathtaking views in any direction, from Dolomites to Appennines, from the gulf of Venice to Mount  Rosa, Mount Blanc and Cervino.

All those who love rock climbing, within a few kilometers can find Arco, a reknown paradise for this sport, both on artificial rock walls or natural cliffs. Anyway, all around the area there are many climbing routes, where everybody can prove himself, alone, or with the help of trained mountain guides, in challenging climbs or along easier hiking trails.

Canyoning: the tours will allow you to visit unspoiled natural environments. You will walk in the water, swim and if you want, you will dive or slide into amazing natural pools (according to your abilities). Mountain Guides will drop you with a rope along fantastic waterfalls.
